  1. This mouse is bulky, scans poorly, and the scroll wheel is about as smooth as a camel’s back. I don’t see how it got such a high ratio of positive reviews. At this price, I’m not bothering to send it back, but it will be available at one of my local goodwill stores where you might pick it up for a buck or two. Do yourself a favor and buy a wireless laser mouse by Logitech for about $35.

Kensington makes a fine mouse. This one has perfect functionality. The USB connection is convenient in that it slips right into the mouse, and it is also big enough to not have a problem with losing it or dropping it or something like that.

This is a really solid mouse. The response is solid, the battery life is good, it uses USB, and it feels really good on the wrist. This mouse is low profile and ultra portable. its big enough to fit the usb adapter underneath it, and small enough to not be cumbersome. For the price is cant be beat, and we can all save a buck or two. These are recession times.

I’m always concerned with any new hardware for my Vista PC since Vista is notorious for compatibility issues. But this mouse was a snap. Insert the batteries, plug in the usb “receiver”, and they “find” each other, without any additional software to install. You can make a few personal adjustments through the “mouse” feature in Control Panel, like scroll wheel use etc, but even thats not really critical.

I did find that when the computer has been inactive for a while, its necessary to click the mouse’s left button to reactivate the mouse — its instantaneous, but at first I thought there was a problem, as I thought the mouse was frozen — it wasnt….just another of those computer mysteries that mere mortals will never understand.

I like the feel of the mouse — its pretty flat, rather than humped like the usual pc mouse. There is non-slip edging around the exterior of the mouse, so its easy to grip…all in all, a nice item that I hope will last a long time.
